Nice hikes with great nature. Berghütte Schareben is a must with its great gastronomic offer.

Super friendly and very helpful. Although the hut was completely full at lunchtime, the landlord organized the rescue for our friend who had had an accident and immediately drove out with his private vehicle. Thanks to the host and everyone who had to wait longer for the meal.

Hungry and thirsty, we had to go again, as there was no indication that it was closed. The food is good.

? Delicious food and a great view. Not to forget the reasonable prices. From the mountain hut you can follow different hiking trails totaling 140 km. A stop afterwards is a must.

The mountain hut is in a wonderful location. The prices were ok too. But what I've experienced here doesn't work at all. We lined up to get a place. 4 tables were free, the waitress, I suspect it was the boss, then wanted to assign us a table in the blazing sun, although there were also shady places. Even though we were traveling with our daughter. When asked, we were allowed to sit at a table in the shade. Guests who came after us and who were known to the lady were served in front of us, but that didn't bother us, we wanted to eat in peace and finally weren't on the run. After a short time we ordered our drinks and they came quickly, but then we were told immediately that if we wanted to eat, there was only one cold dish and cake. But then cake was also over. Strangely, however, other guests who came after us got warm food. When we took the liberty of noting this, the lady became rude and blamed us, after all, we didn't order straight away. Our conclusion: familiar faces are preferred, strangers are only tolerated and dealt with.

What an INCREDIBLY good schnitzel. It was the best I've ever had on my plate. Extremely juicy, great fluffy breading and delicious butter taste. I'm still absolutely overwhelmed by how good this schnitzel was. Incomprehensible! Can't really put it into words! Dear Schareben team: Great! Thank you so much!

Very nice and idyllic mountain inn, fair prices for delicious food. Nice children's playground next to it and a great starting point for hikes. Currently because of Corona only the terrace was open but today there was room for everyone.

Great location with a lot of heart and flair. Food tastes really great, everything is freshly prepared. A visit is really worthwhile.

Very nice restaurant with friendly service. Food tastes good and is also fast at the table. In winter a great snowscape (in summer we were never up here). With the ski bus, the hut is easy to reach but also on foot. After a rich meal you can get down by bus, on foot or by sled (you have to bring your own). Definitely recommended.
